Here's a couple of stash highlights:
Sock yarn. 18 or so pairs' worth. I like knitting socks, but probably not enough to justify a stash like this. I make maybe four pairs a year. Very odd of me.
100% Bamboo. I'm swatching this right now for a short-sleeve sweater. Here's the thing. It is making up best on Size 1 needles at 9 stitches per inch. Am I crazy to consider trying to knit a sweater on this fine of a gauge? It has a really wonderful drape and sheen. And another funny thing about this yarn. I bought it in a cone, and then wound it into cakes. I can't imagine why the hell I didn't just leave the stuff on the cone. Dope.
Three different worsted weight alpaca yarns. Bought months apart for different purposes. They seem to want to be used together. We'll see if some dark purple alpaca makes its way into the stash. Then we'll know for sure!

I don't think you're a dope for winding yarn from a cone into yarn cakes. I do that all the time. I hate knitting from the cone. It's bulky and awkward and annoying. Anyway, beautiful stash! I love the color wheel idea because now you know where you need to fill in.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your photos! Especially, the bamboo! *drool* Such a pretty color! *gurgle*
I love your photos too! And that color wheel is gorgeous!
Yes, but lookit all the pretty pinks! And hey, I'm happy to take that sock yarn off your hands. ;)
Your stash is so much prettier than mine! My stash lives in the wild, hence the natural habitat photos. ;-)
The hat you saw and liked in the first pic is Tychus from Knitty, done in neon green and purple, but shorter than pattern so it doesn't have a brim. Birthday present for my brother this weekend!
Thanks for stopping by la pixie blog!
wow! that's a beautiful photo of your stash. very nicely done.
thanks for your comment on my blog!
Hey Sue. Howza? So were ya floatin up by the ceiling to get that 1st pic? Maybe you've got an open stairway. That would come in handy for unplying yarn/teasing cats. You must be low on the yellows and greens because the great Packer Knit ALong of 2006 for which you are the only knitter to have finished knitting anything.
Love your color wheel of yarn!! Love it!!! That is a beautiful stash (well, except I agree, you should go get some more green if it looks best on you!!)!!
So nice colors your stash has. Love it.
